Like it or not, we are in an era of increasing use of smart home devices to simplify our everyday lives. While increased adoption of these devices continues, the concerns of Generation Z and Millennials about the security of their connected homes are growing. As technology advances, so do the risks associated with potential cyberattacks. This article delves into the rising anxiety among the younger generation, its implications for their privacy and safety and new government plans to try to provide more information from manufacturers to quell these fears.
